In our work together, the goal is for you to increase your self-awareness, understand yourself better, figure out your goals, and take action towards improving your life. It would be an honour to work alongside you on your mental health journey.

 

How can Meaningful Independence therapy services help me?

Meaningful Independence offers virtual therapy across Ontario and Alberta and focuses on supporting adults affected by:

  • anxiety

  • life transitions

  • stress/burnout

  • self-esteem

  • health and wellness issues

  • grief/loss

  • relationship issues

  • disability, injury, chronic illness

  • cultural, ethnic, and racial issues

 

Davina is a Masters-level Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and the Ontario Association of Social Workers. She is also registered as a Certified Solution Focused Therapist (CSFT) with the Canadian Council of Professional Certification (CCPC) Global Inc. 

 

Davina has been practicing as a Social Worker since 2009. She worked in social services and in health care at pediatric and adult rehabilitation hospitals and now works full-time in her virtual Social Work private practice. 

 

Online Therapy in Ontario and Alberta

Counselling services are provided by phone or video.

Virtual or online therapy could be a good fit if you have:

  • a preference for online or phone appointments

  • a busy schedule (lunch hour sessions are available!)

  • transportation issues

  • mobility restrictions 

  • concerns about being seen in a therapy office

  • access issues due to being in a remote area of Ontario or Alberta
